Sounds weird right? Waterskiing in Costa Rica? Well it's true! We spent our spring break 2018 in Costa Rica doing something our entire family loves to do (especially Jason!)
My husband heard about this adventure called Waterski Costa Rica and it sounded really exciting and we decided to go for it. It is located near La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano.
Each morning we were escorted from our resort (Tilajari Hotel) to the manmade freshwater lake that was about 20 minutes away. We skied all morning and then enjoyed a delicious lunch by the water. After lunch we would head back to the hotel for a few hours and then head out to a new adventure in Costa Rica.
We explored several hot springs, an amazing zip lining experience, a boat ride on the river, and a hike to the waterfall. The highlight of the trip for me was hands down the zip lining. We went right across the waterfall and one of the lines was a half mile long! Amazing! A must if you are ever visiting Costa Rica!
